Why Gartner is wrong about iPad

Gartner Group research said touchscreen computers like the iPad will need at least five years or more to help convince enterprise users, who are comfortable with keyboards and mice.

Main arguments short battery life and user resistance to touchscreen interface.

I am not sure I understand; 10 hours of battery life is four times the battery life of the average laptop, and the enthusiastic adoption of touch interface by consumer should let us presume the same enthusiasm should be expressed when at workplace.
